Paul Ruggeri (LEFT) was a four time World Championship Team Member for Team USA. He was the recipient of the Nissen Emery Award (Heisman Equivalent), 9 World Cup Medals, 5 Pan American Games Medals, and 1 World Championship Medal. When he's not in the gym, you can catch him climbing mountains in the Adirondacks.
Zevi Weiss (RIGHT) has been coaching for the past 8 years. He started coaching at a small after school program and has gone on to teach award winning athletes from world renown gymnastics clubs nationwide. His favorite events are bars and vault. When not coaching you can catch him flipping in the gym, hiking, biking or hanging with his dog.
Joseph Neumy (Right - Staff) Nickname Neumy, has an extensive knowledge of human movement. His specialty being flexibility, brings a valuable skill set to the PRG team. Neumy is Yoga Certified and is helping us create a program specifically for gymnasts that we hope to bring to the community very soon!
Michelle Mehallow (LEFT) was a competitive gymnast through level 10. She went on to do gymnastics at Penn State University. She was the recreational program director at United Sports Training Center, and has 20 plus years of gymnastics experience.
Connor Longi (RIGHT - Office)is originally from Northern Va. He moved to NYC to pursue a degree in finance at Pace University. He spent last summer with the United States Marine Corps at Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Va. His passion for fitness has led him to pioneer administrative and functional duties at Paul Ruggeri Gymnastics here in Tribeca. When he's not in the gym he likes to workout, travel, and try new restaurants.
Stephanie Chu (LEFT - Office) grew up in New Jersey but moved to Sydney, Australia when she was 17 to pursue degrees in immunology and infectious diseases. Unhappy with her career in immunology research and upon moving back to the States, she decided to pursue her passion for fitness. She is certified as a personal trainer (NASM), CF-L1, and is now working towards a nutrition certification. When she's not in the gym you can catch her trying to find the next country to travel to or trying new foods.
